Position Overview
Episcopal independent school committed to academic excellence and spiritual formation, seeks a mission-aligned Talent Sourcer to support recruitment of exceptional faculty and staff. This role focuses on proactively identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of diverse, high-quality candidates who support the schools Episcopal identity, inclusive community, and educational mission.
The Talent Sourcer plays a key role in strengthening the schools workforce by developing creative sourcing strategies and cultivating relationships with educators and professionals nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
Proactively source qualified candidates for faculty, administrative, and operational roles using online platforms, professional networks, and educational associations.
Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines for high-need subject areas (e.g., STEM, world languages, learning support, advancement, athletics).
Develop partnerships with colleges, universities, and professional organizations, including Episcopal and independent school networks.
Maintain a warm candidate database for future openings.
Candidate Engagement
Conduct initial outreach to potential candidates via email, phone, and networking platforms.
Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews to assess qualifications, cultural alignment, and mission fit.
Provide candidates with information about the schools Episcopal identity, community values, and academic programs.
Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience.
Diversity & Inclusion
Partner with HR leadership to broaden recruitment outreach to underrepresented groups.
Attend job fairs, diversity recruitment events, and faith-based or independent school conferences.
Support equitable hiring practices aligned with school policies and Episcopal values.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and timelines.
Track sourcing metrics and report on candidate pipeline health.
Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Qualifications
Required
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field.
2+ years of sourcing or recruitment experience (education sector preferred).
Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and sourcing tools.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated respect for and willingness to support the mission of an Episcopal school.
Preferred
Experience recruiting faculty or staff in independent, private, or faith-based schools.
Knowledge of Episcopal school networks and NAIS best practices.
Experience sourcing diverse candidate pools.
